so i'm driving at dusk the other day and i put on my headlights, nothing. or at least i thought since the dash lights didn't come on. My headlights pop up and come on and go off and down when off, but i've got no dash lights or tail lights. I changed a couple of fuses (dead pedal) that were melted but still no luck. What else should i check? Everything is fine i just can't drive at night, is this a what happens when the switch goes bad? thanks

thanks, it is the switch from what i've read. If anyone else experiences headlights working but no dash or tails, the switch is melted and you need a new one. Back to the parts car i go.

yah, at least its easy to figure out, if its melted it might be bad. you may want to get the updated harness, they added a ground so it doesnt melt again

mine did the same thing, i took out the light switch......its like a huge assembly that contains everything on the left side. and it was melted slightly and corroded. i cleaned it up and crimped down the terminal some , put it back on and it worked great.

took out my old switch it was clean, no burnt bits. The new one is far worse. Anyway switching back and forth and cleaning both switches didn't fix things. So where do i go from here? Any suggestions on what to check or how to just get around this crap? thanks

did you follow the harness and check it for burnt wires?
