ok.. People.. I am thinkin of getting headers for the FC in the quest of getting better mileage.. I will get the racing beat exhaust later on too but for now I need to save some $$ for the Repu stuff.. SO.. the question is would the RB headers work good with the stock exhaust? at least for a few months? I have a high flow main cat, everything else is stock..

So will the headers work good even with the stock exhaust canisters..
|
I think the header/presilencer combo blew out the stock mufflers that were on my car when I got it. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/wink.png

I don't care if they blow out, but will it run fine even if the stcok mufflers are on there.. Hell, they are probably blow already cuz the car sounds like it has an exhaust.. I guess there is only one way to find out... Mwuhahahahaha

Its going to sound nasty and be real loud with the stock catback.
|
as long as it does not have a negative effect on my performance or engine, I can live with it for a few months while I get the Repu going..
|
ur car already sounds like it has an exhaust. just to not risk things, i would buy the header and not put it on until i had the money for the exhaust

I know I'm a little late on this thread, but I have the rb header/presilencer with stock catback. I haven't seen a problem yet. Of course, I don't have cats, but I don't know how much of a difference that makes.

ive seen it done
but i heard it doesnt work out well in the end and ofcourfce doesnt give you the significant power you would get untill you get the whole Exhaust system its self if its not there for too long i doubt itll do any harm just dont wait too long though |
