What is the best header/test pipe combination for a 91' n/a. I want something that doesnt look crappy but sounds well, i will also be putting a 2 1/2 exhaust system behind that with borla mufflers. I would just like all of your input. thanks

I like Racing Beat, but lets look at your options:

Racing Beat

Mindtrain

Pacesetter

Have I missed any? In reverse order -

I think most people would agree that of the three, Pacesetter is, um, the least desireable. If anyone has a Pacesetter, I apologize if it sounds like I'm being hard on your pipe. HOWEVER, it's got unequal length tubes made up of recycled mystery metal that will rust in Phoenix.

Mindtrain. Good quality. Other than the tubing size being a little larger than I would like, I’d take it. Anyone know where Fred Mats is nowadays? Is he still building these or is someone else running the show?

Racing Beat. Does ANYONE with a Racing Beat exhaust system feel they’ve made a mistake?

Borla mufflers? To each his own. I bought a pair of RB cans from the best rotary shop in Signal Hill last Thursday and I have no regrets.

SDJ headers are awsome. But you will have to use a custom made exhaust with them.
