my fd and i have taken down 4 trannies. last one was rebuilt and i broke it in less than 4 hours

I broke what appears to be the front diff mount on my NA project car a few days ago while tuning. Now there's a loud *** clunk from the rear whenever I go to engage the clutch.

my second while moving was always sticky... and getting it into reverse without the clunk was tricky any ideas?

try shifting into 5th gear before shifting into reverse, Ill bet you it helps the clunk.



used to have to do this on every Mustang otherwise it would grind reverse, since then its a habit of mine.



keep me informed, everyone I tell it to doesnt believe it until they do it.

well i would always slam it behind that wall thingy like three times before i put it in reverse and that seemed to help but the car is wrecked now so its no use
