What american made car, which is uber-popular, had 2 concept cars with roataries in em (one a 2-rotor one a 3)? Though it never saw anything but pistons (typical detroit thinking there....). Post the answer below, just wanna see if anyone else knew this

the rotary corvette in 1970. Never went into production. Testing continued until 74 when the whole rotary project was cancelled.

the Corvette it is! there was one in '70 and '74 too i think, couldn't get chevy to bite on puttin in the rotary tho (too bad, imagine a 20b in a 'vette)

oops...went back and checked.... the 1973 xp-897 had a 2 rotor and the 1977 Aerovette started out life with a 4-rotor and ended up with a small block V-8

Yeah but wherent they really slow. If I remember they only had like 80Hp. Maybe I am wrong but I think that was one of the reasons they didnt use it! Help me out here!

the felix vega was one of them that gm was gonna make and chevy had the vette and another car that started with a c i cant remember the name but NSU sold alot of licenses before they went out of bizznesss. Even mercedes benz was designing a 4 rotor benz.
