ok, supposedly, I have a GTU, as that is what is on my decals, but, they are supposed to have power locks/windows (I think, not sure) which mine doesn't, and 15" wheels, mine are 16" however, GTU's aren't supposed to have a sunroof (according to rx7club.com forums) and I do, how can I tell what the hell I have? what other differences are there, how is the GTU's better, besides the fact that so few were made?

 

call up your dealer and give them your vin#, they can tell you. My GTU has no option, but a sunroof and it has 15" rims.T hey replaced the 88GTU as the non-turbo turbo model. Pre 88 GTU(s) were only base models. The GTUs had the 4.3 in the rear and the turbo transmission, these put this model ahead of the 88 GTU.

 

does your car have LSD ? that's an easy way to find out if you have a GTUs . my friend thought for about 5 years he had a GTU i told him i think he had a GTUs and i was right. he called the dealer. i shouldn't have told him and should have bought the car
