that would be ironic [/quote]

He'd just loose it, blame me and I'd wind up dead is all.

I know what it is but I'm sworn not to tell.

Werent you warned about this? LOL! There comes that point when you KNOW it will be easier to take the engine apart and check it out when its sitting there on the floor, but then you say "Im sure it good, lets just put it in". I thought you had done a compression test on it? Reminds me of my first car, my 1984 Trans Am, I bought this used 350 small block from a "friend", just threw it in, then ended up taking it out a month later with 3 spun bearings. Wiped out the crank and all, when I first got the engine, me and my real friends were all ready to take it apart and freshen it up, but I got tight assed about it look where it got me

Ah, I only said that because you said something about doing a compression test for the hell of it.

my ecu controls boost to 11psi. i guess when its high rpm in high gear the stock wastegate can't control a FULL 3" exhaust. the car is def humming along at 15psi. approx how fast is 5000rpm in 5th. i haven't had a working speed for a few months now
