getting it right
so i cant tell if this motor is running like a pile of crap or i just miss boost that badly.
im just wondering, what all is there that i should check and replace to make sure its running as it should?
the 6ports arent working, though i managed to free the sleeves with some pliaring, but im not sure its loose enough for the actuators to do there magic, havent put them back on yet but if they do work that should help. ive owned 3 na's and none of them had working 6ports. *******.
and the tps is all kinds of doofy. car had some crazy vented hood so everythings all rusty in that area, and itll randomly start acting up. like if i floor it itll go to some rpm, die off, then rev up again, repeat. a little juggling with the plug and its wires and its fine. so i guess i should replace and adjust that
so besides that, what is there to check/calibrate/replace to make sure its putting out what it should? 02 sensor maybe?

o2 sensor couldnt hurt. Whenever i buy a car, or put a used motor in a car i generally change all intake gaskets do a full tuneup and flush and fill all fluids, on an n/a id also service the 6-ports to get them working. with all those bases covered the only other things really are throttle cable adjustment, idle adjustment, and tps adjustment.

i pulled the manifolds and everything with the motor out of the car, had to replace the injectors as no fuel filter and a gas tank full of rust dont make a good combo.
i didnt pull the LIM though, but im going to have to if i cant get these ports working i guess =/

yeah, turbo was so much ******* fun. even stock **** with an fmic. sooooo much fun.
