hey everybody im pickin up a vert this sunday what can i use from my gtu that would help it? i got some corksport exhaust parts which im swapin over and i have some t2 spings but the convertibles are probly stiffer anyways. oh the vert is a 88' and my gtu is a 90'.



also i need to know if the trans are interchangeble cuz thats why im gettin the vert for so cheap (250) it needs a new trans.

the springs won't swap and yea the vert springs are a higher spring rate.



the na tranny's in the s4 and s5 were the same with the exception of the t2 tranny, s4 and s5 had drifferent mounts, if i recall correctly.

 

what would i need to swap trans between the two?

 

it goes right in, my 89 vert has an 88 gtu's tranny in it

 

springs are interchangable, but in your case the swap is not worth it.



if you had some good aftermarket springs that would be a different story.
