while the whole thing is apart i would send out the injectors to www.rceng.com for cleaning. how many miles on the car ? if the engine still turns over now would be a good time to do a compression test. so you don't put in a dying engine

Well, RC engineering I think has the same turnaround time as most other places...they'll have the injectors back to you in about 2 or 3 days from when they receive them. If you have the entire car, you'll have everything. If you do go w/ the rebuild, why don't you just save money on the rebuild and fix the T2? You'll have 2 rx7s then

my km to miles is not too great but i think 135k km is about 80k miles ?? if it is i would suggest pulling the block out and rebuilding it while you still have a car to drive. its better to build the car correctly the first time and not worry about how long the engine is gonna last. T2's have four 550cc injectors. if you wanted to you can put in 720cc secondaries and get an apexi s-afc to control them.

if you want to upgrade the turbo. the hks T04E kit is very nice. its a street turbo and will be very fun and FAST. you would also want to get the HKS fmic to go along with it. all i can say is when dealing with body work or whole drivetrain swaps, you want to do everything correctly the first time. how bad and where was the car hit ?? i mean if you have enough time you can fix the body yourself and just get a paint job later.
