of what i know of there isn't much difference between the two shells... you will need an ecu, if you can't get one I'd suggest the haltechs e6k.... but other then that there isn't much difference other then boost guage, turbos have 5 lug wheels instead of 4 lugs, and the hood, which you would prolly consider getting unless you get a front mounted intercooler....

you would want to swap drivetrain eg, trans, diff, axles, driveshaft and suspension to handle the power from the t2 engine. no point in doing all that work and blowing the tranny or diff etc

with haltech you don't need factory ecu. e6k comes with new wiring harness, etc

I'm putting a '91 GTX motor in my '88 SE...here's a list of the turbo II parts you'll need to get and add:

*Tranny

*ECU

*Mass airflow sensor

*Driveshaft(depends, sometimes they can hook up)

*You'll need an FCD too probably(I did)

*Hood(unless your doing a FMIC)

*and turbo exhaust

That should at least get the car running..other stuff you could add, but don't need to:

*Turbo II coils

*LSD(if you don't have it)

*Boost gauges

You don't really need to worry about the suspension or brakes, all Rx7s have great factory setups...need more info, just say so...lol, trust me if your going to do this yourself, you'll want to make sure you have wiring diragrams, a manual, and a helper...DO NOT ATTEMPT THIS ALONE, lol.

WOW, you are very lucky. if you have the whole car then obviously you have everything needed. as long as it wasn't damaged in the accident. i would swap EVERYTHING! if you can.
