actually i see yours doesnt raise the filter up as much, so its not the same as the mazdatrix one

I stand corrected

maybe clearance is more of a issue on FDs, I see no problem getting the filter off a FC with the oil block.

May I ask why you are planning on getting the relocation kit?

[quote name='eyecandy' date='Jun 4 2005, 05:27 PM']I am still working the pricing out which is why I did not post it yet. Besides if there is enough interest I will set up a group buy and the prices will be better. As a rough estimate probably in the $65-85 range.

Numerous versions? You want to enlighten me on these numerous other versions you speak of? I am aware of only one other stock replacement that FC3S.Org use to produce and I know they no longer produce these.

FC3s.org now sells their products out of the shop they set up. Thier site is www.speedmachineperformance.com I just bought a pedestal from craig about a week ago. If you wish to produce them thats cool. If you are just looking to buy one their are still some out there.

Run a bigger filter. A filter that is cheaper and easier to find. One that is easier to get to... those are some of the reasons...

how much easier is it then the top of the engine at the firewall?

Isnt it just as easy to get the stock filter is it is any other filter you will put on there will it not? Seems like better things to spend money on then a filter relocation kit?

I find it difficult for me. I have a lot of stuff near that area. With the S5 TII you have to contend with the TMIC, power steering, the brake lines. etc etc. I have to wear long sleeve shirt whenever I change the filter or else I run the risk of cutting my arm trying to get at it.

I should have final pricing available shortly, and if there is enough interest I would be willing to setup a GB for the initial release. Post up if you are interested.
