OK,

Here's the deal,

Removed the pump from the tank.

Turn the key to "ON" nothing.

Gave it power direct from the taillight, cool runs. . not well but runs.

Jump it at the connection under the airbox, runs.

Check power from the fuse under the hood. power is there.

On the wire to the pump, nothing.

Sending unit, power.

At the harness connection at drivers side kick panel, nothing.

So my question is, Where is the missing link?

If I jump it, I've got power.

But besides that, I've got nothing?

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

um its a confusing circuit isnt it? i think the afm and or ecu closes a relay and that will trigger the other relay to acutally run the fuel pump

the fuel pump only runs when

a, the car is running

b, the key is turned "ON" AS WELL AS the fuel pump test jumper on the pass. shock tower is jumpered.

it's a saftly thing. if you crash, as soon as the engine stalls the fuel pump will cut out instead of pumping gas everywhere.

Thanks Mike and Scott!

Scott, honestly I never even considered the safety aspect of this!

I wasn't sure if was the pump or the wiring.

And I always seem to go the hard road first!

Thanks for saving me a trip!
