Does the fuel pump have a seperate fuse, or is it with something else. My problem is I swaped my motor out and the pump wont come on, but the relay is clicking? Any ideas.

I have the same problem with my car. i swapped the engine for another s5 engine and now my fuel pump wont receive power. i even went to the extent of buying a new pump and running new wires for the pump and i still get nothing. anyone out there can help us with our problem???

My problem, is not the same as yours. I stayed s4.

The fuel pump should have its own fuse. I know most cars have them so I wouldnt see why the FCs wouldnt.

I believe the EGI Fuse in the Engine Bay (for S5's anyways) control the fuel pump.

While I was installing the SAFCII in my car, I tried to start the car without a proper ground on the unit and blew the EGI fuse so it would sit there and turn over until I replaced the fuse.

Its good I figured out the fuel pump, I had to take the line off and bleed the air out.

But now, It wont start I cant figure out if its out of time or what Ill have to mess with it tomorrow.

That air in the lines always get you...I did the same thing on the tractor this weekend..lol, different story, but same fix, lol.

Are you getting an firing? Generally a rotary will run/start even if the timing is off... check the spark plugs..make sure they havent fouled out..we've put new engines in cars and they wouldnt start worth crap until swapped the plugs out...

check spark

check fuel
