fuel cut

HI i have a turbo 2 rx7 and i reading forums saying that you cant do anything to the motor until you get a ecu and injectors. Is this true cuz i wanted to get a intercooler upgrade for my car but im scared since i read that can you guys please help me out thanks

yes you can do a new intercooler..if you want to up the boost you should get at the very least an apex safc and a fuel cut defenser.. if you just want to be on the safe side larger injectors but if all you want is a new IC then no worries. higher volume fuel pump too.

cuz i read the forums and it said like the injectors could only hold like 220hp wouldnt if i got a intercooler it wouldnt hold but im not going to up the boost for now but will anything go wrong

with stock boost levels...no you will get a little more power from it being a cooler charge of air. you will be fine.

and if i want to up the boost i would get a apexi safc and a fuel cut deffenser and injectors to up the boost but is there a limit cuz since rotary has no pistons thankyou for your help

yes if you want to up the boost a little get at least a fuel cut def. and an apex safc..the safc will help you add fuel to the mix..now remember on a stock t2 turbo you can't up the boost much...only take it to about 10 psi.. a cat back exh will help a little too.

RIGHT NOW ON THE CAR I HAVE A CUSTOM EXHUAST DONE AND MSD IGNITION A AIRFILTER BUT ITS ON STOCK BOOST BUT YEAH I CAN PUSH 10 TEN PSI WITH THE APEXI SAFC AND FUEL CUT DEFENSER WHAT IF I HAD INJECTORS AND HOW MUCH CAN THE STOCK TURBO PUSH OUT

AND WHERE I LIVE WE DONT NEED CATYLIC CONVERTERS IN THE EXHAUST CUZ WE DONT GOT EMISIONS

would not go over 10-12 psi with stock turbo..its not the fuel system at that point its the turbo..you can do that with the safc, fuel cut def., higher flow fuel pump..other things you might want to use just to be safe are boost gauge, and an air fuel ratio gauge, some kind of boost controler

so i can push 10 pounds withouth changing any of the injectors but with all the rest off things you listed right
