Well, I have been driving the Vert around alot already.. The other day I got 157 miles for 12 gallons of gas.. thats about 13 MPG.. so how do I improve... I was thinking there might be a leaky injector since both times it failed emissions testing, that was one of the possibilities.. I will be replacing the air filter and fuel filter and wires.. as well as cleaning the throttle body and intake.. What else can do to improve the mileage..

try replacing all those things. than see if your MPG goes up. I had shitty MPG for a while and after all that time it was one faulty injector and a clogged Cat converter

Try replacing the O2 sensor. Dont buy the Mazda one though cause it is really expensive. Just get a universal one. That should help you milage out.

I average 20 usually with some traffic driving and some driving

with the A/C on. I did get about 25 once with all highway driving.
