I would also like to state that the FC is not the only car that has had Pulse Dampener problems. A lot of late 1990s ferrari 348 GTB's 355's caught fire on their own because of a bad batch of bosch PD's. Imagine spending $200K and it bursting into flame

Thanks...We're trying to get it in the F.A.Q. so people know how to do it.

And for some reason, I don't think those will be the last shades killed...LOL.

hey whats up.. when my PD started leaking i was on my way home from work and my car just started flaming from under the hood. i had to replace the engine harness.. fuel injectors.. gaskets.. fuel hoses.. and coolant lines. with my PD it had that same little screw out of it too. I just put superglue on the screw.. screwed it in and then put jb weld over it.. now it works fine and has been for a while and its turbo now

great pics i.didnt.do.it!

I don't know if my replacement fuel rail/PD was S4 or S5, but it was all one piece. Also, the plate that the 2 bolts go through on the primary fuel rail wasn't as thick as stock*. So I had to go buy some shorter bolts (I could've cut the originals, but the threads stopped at a certain point).

*I put it back on anyway, being stupid. The rail wasn't tight, so the injectors popped off in mid-traffic, and dumped fuel everywhere. I'm thinking that the large amount of fuel kept it cool enough not to burst into flaming carnage.
