depending on how bad they got you may need to replace the hub as well since its all aluminum it gets out of round quickly and easily.

most people dont replace the races, I highly suggest you do, just gotta cut the notches in and its fine knock 'em out and put in the new ones.

re-tightening is common because the bearings will take a little while to "set in" on the hub. you can really do it by feel, but its an acquired feel. and always back it off before the final tightening.

oh and make sure it's not something else thats loose thats causing the slight wobble.

i replaced my front wheel bearings on my 88 n/a DD and the enxt week my tie-rod ends blew out. so i replace the balljoints, tierod ends, struts and mounts.

Races have been changed 3 times. I think is time for a fresh set of used hubs. Going to the junkyard tommorow.

used hubs? sheesh thats like asking to buy broken stuff lol. they're *all* aluminum, just a tad too much heat in a single spot for a single second will cause terminal damage invisible to the naked eye.

just save up and buy new hubs, unless you just want to give me money for broken stuff.
