Found A Hood
#1
Is a 150.00 a good price for a straight 88 n/a hood. I have been having hell getting mine to line up right. I should have never taken it off. It overlaps the headlight on one side and is bowed in the middle on both sides. I want to begin prepping the car for paint this weekend and I will have to do some work on the edges anyway. However, the color of the one I want to buy is same as my car.

This car hit a cow a few years ago, no visible damage, just the hood and right headlight bucket out of alignment. I am hoping a new hood will line up correctly, I can fix the headlight with no problem. And, by the way, a guy I know called me today and he found a stock GTU hood, he wants 450.00. Is this a fair price, and will it line up on an 88 n/a?

haha, ok, i thought i might have been wrong..... and 450 is too much, you can get a CF Turbo II hood from fc3s.org for about $150 more i think, of maybe a N/A hood...all i know is dont pay 450 for a stock steel hood...i think maybe your headlight maybe be out of alignment
