Glad to see the IC arrived to you undamaged ILUV. Did you get rid of the 1320, lol? I told ya it was in good shape. Let me know how the rest of your IC project goes...

I won a starion off ebay a little while ago but haven't gotten it yet. I'll be going in next month or so. I'm going to pick up a few dynomax U bends. I think 2.25". like $15 each. not sure how many I'll need. cut them to meet together and mark then. then get a shop to weld them together for a few dollars. then just use silicone connecters at the IC ends, turbo, and TB.

Yep, that was the first thing to go. Nothing a little paint stripper couldn't fix. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png The fins must have gotten a little banged up in the shipping, because there were a few I had to fix.

You can just use only old pipes. The HKS pipes are just cast aluminum. So you can probably get the same types of pipes cheaper.
Horsepowerfreaks.com sells the HKS pipes, and they are only like $15 each (depending on the type of bends).

it may look easy but its a pain..... i'm just gonna let a shop do all the piping!

What kind of shop?

I'm not looking forward to figuring out the plumbing. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...>/rolleyes.gif It doesn't help that I live in an apartment.

one the tuner shops around here does intercooler piping and i know someone else that can do them for me https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png

Ok so you can use a intercooler from a Starion.

What is this IC like compared to say the Greddy models made for our car. The reason why I am going to a FMIC is that I will be boosting alot higher than stock in the future. What will this IC be able to handle?

Be prepared to take a sawzall and/or roto-zip to your radiator supports. <_<

I was just wondering this too.........

I think you can safely run 15 - 20 psi on them. But I'm sure the Greddy IC would be more efficient at 15+ psi.
