Who do you all prefer for a lightweight flywheel? I'm thinking about putting the Racing Beat 12lbs or 17lbs flywheel on my new motor, but haven't decided which..I'd like to get like a 13 or 15 pound one, but oh well...

BTW, my stock '91 jspec flywheel is for sale, 22lbs...

When i swapped motors from s4 to s5. I went from 18 lb flywheel to the stocker in s5. I"m actually happy with the s5 flywheel responce. Thre wasn't much difference to me and the engine idles smoother. Is up to you if you want to drag racer or road race.

My main priority is drag racing, but since the car will still be used SOMEWHAT one the street...I wanted something that would bounce right up to 8K when I downshift from 60 to 3rd to waste some stangs and such...lol. That's why I wanted something a little below 17, but the next lowest I can find is 12lbs...oh well...probably just go w/ 17...
