if you drain the radiator first, it doesnt go everywhere, just almost everwhere.

there's no point in doing it half ass... If you don't feel like draining the block, you should at least get that prestone flush and fill kit and backflush the engine.

if you replace thermostat, be sure to get OEM one, go to mazda. I used an autozone one once and my temp was all over the place, junk.

And, after listening to these guys, I got the Mazda thermostat. The car actually runs cooler. |
I heard only oem thermostats are the best.
