a couple days ago I was driving and when I fliped my turn signal the light came on but it didn't flashed. Both left and right turn signals were the same. but a day later they seemed fine. Is this a sign of a bad connection or something more??

its probably the flasher unit going out/ or corroding, the 84-85 hazzard flashers never work, you have to cycle the swich a few times before it works

Yeah, a bad flasher CPU is a common problem. A new one is about $60. That guy Chris Sanders usually has some on thepartstrader. I've managed to fix one before, but it was by pure luck that I figured out the problem.
