i fixed my TII today thanks to felix wankel. i made the same mistake he did capping something i wasn't supposed to. i still have about 2hrs worth of work to make the car 100% but it runs real good now with VERY LITTLE smoke. i'm sooooooooo happy right now. i have a working car again WOOOOOHOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!
i also fixed it at 12:00 so that shows my dedication https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png |

what did u cap? good work, i think i might have done it, cuz he mention it something to me when i did it....
|
on the middle housing right where the oil filler is there is a oil recirculation. when i removed the emissions i capped that. it causes soo much smoke not even funny!
|
note to self...
|
that was a bitch when i found out. could have been driving my car for like 2 weeks now !!!! https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/angry.png

|
Taking bets on how long it stays running now.... lol Keep it off the track and drive it normal why dont ya?
|
yeah yeah.... no drag racing it for a while :(

For a second I was thinking: Great not only does Vosko get his car running but he summons dead people to help.
Freaky man. |
actually i gotta order a fluidyne or koyo rad. then car will be perfect. i have no shroud for the griffin so it doesn't get any airflow unless its moving. i should have just spent the $$$$ and got the real radiator to begin with. oh well live and learn https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR
|
coolness.

My whole car is ghetto rigged!
(My MSD mount is the box jammed up front with the relays) |
felix we are the few the proud the fast ghetto rigged TII's https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png
|
Can I join the smokey, fast, ghetto TII club too? My secret is that I use zip ties for everything. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png

Damn...I knew I should have used duct tape to cover the rust hole in my fender...they even make purple tape.
BTW, the zip ties aren't usually used for wires, if that helps. I use them to hold my exhaust in place, hold the plastic undertray on, hold the front plate on, etc... |
