So we took out the transmission that was messed up and changed the rear cover of the old one and put it on the new one since the bracket T&R made didnt fit the new transmission becuase where the crossmember went was a lil bigger.

So we did that and i fixed the ground from the starter to the motor, which is what lead my SS clutch line catching on fire. I put an original mazda rubber cLutchline and we started the car, and it started up like a nice lil rotary. Car started up fine, idled fine, only question is my oil pressure is MAXED out!!!...

I changed the oil while i had the car jacked up, can that be a reason? I put a new oil fitler (K&N) and put 5.5 quarts since its max is 6.1 quarts.

Now besides the oil pressure being high, my car wont go into reverse. Can it be because the transmission is leaning a lil towards the right. Can it be because the shifter bracket that has 3 bolts only has 2 functioning bolts becuase one of the bolts is broken inside the thread? Or could it be becuase the plate that the bolts go into is put on wrong, meaning it should be rotated and then rebolted on?

I hope that makes sense

EDIT: Could it be because my cars has an exhaust leak (no left muffler) and the car is running with High RPM's making the Oil Pressure so high?

My car doesnt go into REVERSE , can it be because the 5th Gear/Reverse connector that goes into the transmission is broken, and i need to get a new one. I asked in another post if anyone knew where to buy one new and i dunno what mazdatrix called it. I got one for like $30 is this the correct price?

nah i dont think i did,

this wire is coming out of the same bundle of wires that go into the starter

EDIT. The oil pressure went down after it was idling for a bit, but when i took it out on the road, and drove around with high rpms due to my exhaust leak, i think that put strain on the car.

I usually only put 5 qts, but the auto manual said to fill evthing back up its 6.1 US quarts, so i put 5 quarts and less than half of the 6th quart.

5.2 quarts u might say, i let the oil pan drain for a long time, then put the screw back on waited 10 minutes and pulled it again....to make sure i got most of it out
