On the K2rd I just used a 6 to 8 union with an o-ring inside on both side. Make them tight and should be ok. I pressure tested mine too like over 100psi, no leaks when the FPR was stuck, lol. The pressure was so high, my fuel filter started to leak at the bottom end.
You gotta use heavy duty Teflon tape on NPT threads.

Yes, you can add O rings to fittings that are AN O ring but didnt come with the O rings but require them, or need them replaced.
Earls and Aeromotive doesnt even provide O rings with the AN O ring fittings they sell, at least in my experience. You can buy baggies of AN O rings from Earls, I bought a bag to do my car.

That looks like a Earls crush washer, and the fitting looks like a GM O-ring fuel line to AN flare adapter (or power steering to AN adapter) NOT what you need, which is a AN O-ring to AN Flare adapter (-6 to -6) AKA 'Port Adapter'.... just search for aeromotive on summit or jegs, look at their product list and you will find fuel fittings, including the port adapters and the O rings needed for them.
Useful advice: find a local speed shop that carries AN hardware. It's nice when you get to know the employees and they just let you go out back and rummage through the bins to find what you need, with parts in hand for test fit. I've had places even on first visit where the owner takes me back and spends over an hour with me finding the right fittings for the exotic piece of equipment I brought in with me. Supporting small local businesses is cool too.

I should open my own shop, I have never seen a hotrod shop around here.... No wonder everyone around here just has bolt-ons.....
