Your terminology makes this a little difficult to follow. The halfshaft is inserted into the differential and the driveshaft is inserted into the transmission. Not sure which one you mean to be asking about in this situatuion, but I am going to assume that it is the driveshaft into the transmission.

Another question that I would like to know is if this was originally a TII car or a N/A car?

With that being said, I am inferring that you had a N/A car and are swapping a TII motor and tranny into it. You can use the original N/A tranny so long as you swap the N/A flywheel, clutch and pressure plate onto the TII motor. Then you can use the N/A tranny and driveshaft to complete the system.

If what I have inferred is wrong, please let em know andpost as much info regarding you situation as possible so that people can give you a response.

Thanks Chris you are right. Since it took a while for a response, I took matters into my own hands. I took a t2 driveshaft and used a brake press to get it out and then mate it with the na shaft it worked and now I have to wait on my throttle cable to come in. And once I complete this project, I will post pics. Also I have the 86 na motor with bad apexi seals if any1 need parts you can have it for cheap pick a price. I rather not ship, but I will . Thanks again and sorry for my ignorance. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/wink.gif
