Finally Put My Intake On My Fc
#32
I just see the whole thing as a waste of time, the stock set up sucks air
just fine the way it is, nice cool air from atop the radiator and under the hood,
hence the reason for the gasket on the hood.

[QUOTE]very clean motor (compared to mine, anyway) ...you might want to think about leaving on the old intake portion that ran on
top of the fan shroud, as it moved fresh air to the intake [QUOTE]
I left mine on when I put on the new intake....looks good

WE GOT LIKE 20'' of snow in my area. Ive posteed pics of my car covered in snow. check the snow pics of gen d ok. The stock air box has a hole probably one inch in diameter. Its mad tiny. The K&N intake or any other intake have a humungeous hole in the center where it straightens out the air and feeds it more directly into the intake. And maybe thats not a bad idea to leave the old intake duct there. I might put it back. Maybe when i can take alll the snow off my car lol. But i like my intake. ANd ffor thefive speed. Im getting it this summer. I got the headlight duct. Just got to wet sand it and paint it. then just install and watch the mouths dropp. It looks great though. I thinnk it wil help a litle bit with the air but not too much of a performance gain. lol
