Finally Got My Car To Start..
To imagine a $5.29 belt turned out to a $ 300.00 plus job. Luckily my car is running and i am happy gonna go cruise the streets now
Things can be so crazy..
So i practically did a tune up so i just ordered mazda genuine hoses and fuel filter to complete the task and some Castrol GTX 20w-50 oil and a K&N oil filter
Peace jazerx7, nyc
Even though you spent waaaaaaaaaayy more money than most hardcore guys spend, you might have actually killed more than one bird with all that cash.
If the clamps inside the plug wires don't grab the plug tips, you'd get hard starting, especially after it has been switched off, after it's damp outside--like after rain or fog.
Removing the EGI fuse wouldn't help much, neither would most mechanics. Use needle-nose pliers, and dielectric grease in the boots, or else you'd be misfiring like crazy when it's cold and you need the power. And you'd have hard starting, which leads to flooding, then many towtruck rides, mechanic bills, embarrassment, dying battery, dying alternator...
But your new wires should be fine, hopefully.

yeah my car started fine.. it idled funny for like 5 minutes but after 30 minutes it was smoother than it ever was. And i didnt mind spending the money since the car needed a tune up... Just thought it was okay. But when i took out the spark plugs to unflood the car they looked a little foul and they werent sparking to much. so i said **** it ill get the wires and plugs there cheap. so i got new belts, battery, and wires and plugs, so im going to finish it by putting a new filter/hoses/ and changing the oil/brake fluid/differential fluid.. give it a needed overhaul

my car flooded becuase while i was driving my alt belt ripped off so i was running off the battery. SO when igot home and tried to start the car there wasnt enought power to spark the gas entering the combustion cycle so it got flooded.
