Hey all, right now I am planning out the turbo stuff for my car. I hear a lot of ppl talking about the internal wastegate not being enough with some upgrades, so I was wondering if any tube manifolds would bolt up with the stock turbo (I will use a S5 turbo), since I could then use a external wastegate. Would all that be a big waste?

I am going to fab a horizontil mount intercooler set-up much like BlueTII. And I was wondering if using 2 stock intercoolers for there cores would be a good idea.

I am going to ask more ?'s later, but I am too tired to think right now.

Not sure if any comp. makes a tube manifold for the stock turbo. No probs getting them for the engine and a better turbo w say, a t4 housing. The HKS cast has been use alot. Not very tubed though. If your just going to use the stocker then fabbing your own mani. would be the best way.

With the stock turbo, I wouldn't go farther then making a mani and porting the internal W/G. Anything after that would be a waste.

I would save the external W/G, tubed mani (divided or not) for a better turbo.

I have read of guys using two stock intercoolers, welded together, as a front mount. Not sure how it tuned out . There is a post about it right now on a diff forum, if I remember right.

Well I guess I will just save up for a S5 turbo with BNR stage one mods.
