Hey all, an ITE car, accoring to IT rules you can't put on over fenders or aftermarket fenders, but you can roll your stock ones.

So if I roll my fenders could I go with 16 or 17 with 255's on all corners?

This is the same tire size I'm looking at (17s w/ 255/45 17s or 235f/255r). A friend used a fender roller to pull a fender about 2 inches or so, which "should" make it doable w/ the correct offset wheels. Measuring off mine, I'm figuring that I will need to pull the fenders 1-1.5 inches for the 255s (front). Having not lowered the car yet, I'm not sure how the change in camber/caster will affect tire clearances.

you're not limited to a spec tire/wheel in ITE?

2. Wheel and tire size are free, within the limitation that the wheel/tire combination must fit completely within the front and rear fender well opening

1. Fender modifications are allowed for the purpose of tire clearance (per GCR 9.1.3.8.a). Flared fenders or non-stock quarter panels used to clear wider tires are not allowed.

The Rest of the oregon scca ITE rules are at http://64.233.167.104/search?q=cache:I-cgZ...;cd=1&gl=us

on a stock fc i run 255s rear and 225 frount and did not need to roll the fenders, a buddy has 275 rear skins and 235 frount , all of wich are on 17" rims x8 to 9.5 and we did not roll any fenders.as far as ITE since when does the scca allow you to change rim dia out of the range of what the car came with? i know ITS must run the stock rim dia but width can be changed.

I have set my car up for ITS which has required wheel sizes (15x7 rims rx7) but allows tire mix and spacers. Haven't found the right spacer yet looking to keep it hub centric and add 1/2" . Have rolled mine in anticipation and after lowering some (forget where I'm at, maybe 6+" off ground it looks to be close on the front fenders when tight turn and hit a bump. Mine's a daily driver as well, tho. A full race car may not have to worry about a full lock turn and bump.

I am currently running in ITE Time trials and hanging with the Porsche 928's once the computer mod is done I'll own them!

we've been looking into running a class like this (nasa E0), we'd be running 16x8ish wheels, with maybe 245's. you'll need to roll the fenders in the front to clear these, rear is fine. car cant be too low either.

17's should fit fine too they may be too big?

i havent seen a real ITE/E0 car yet, though, and in NASA we're not even sure of the rules, cause they dont have any

Yup, I had my motor built up so I can add forced induction later... stock porting to run in ITS. I am right on the edge... any Porting or sprchrgr and then I'll be ITE from now on... not ready for that.... yet. Am getting one of Digital Tunings new chips for my S5. They just finished Beta testing... looks VERY Promising.. Will report after I have some runs with it.
