I know what you mean. I also want black leather FC seats in my 86. I'm still looking aroung though, it's the best way to go if you want to change those seats.

 

you could get you seats upolstered in leather, its goona run you about 500-2500 depending on the quality of leather you get

anyone know of any goodlooking racing seat covers. My seats are faded and covered up with old, worn seat covers that dont fit quite right.



Figured someone makes imitation racing seat covers for all those ricers, less the japanese symboles.

 

RX-7 Aggie I think Pepboys sells those and anything else for ricers.

 

You could probably just use the FC's brackets bolted onto the FD seats.

Ive swapped many seats out using that method, just never tried it on a Mazda.

 

i tried putting FD seats in an FC. it is a big ******* pain in the ***. the brackets are wider one way and narrower the other way. u would need to make custom brackets and it would be alotharder to make the seats slide
