Insane! Did you bore out the holes for your intercooler tubing to go through the front corners of the body (I assume you used the holes that were behind the headlights and under the stock aircleaner and battery positions)? Or did you shrink the tuubing down?

what a wonderfull feeling, after 5 months of hard work and effort, to see the project reach its ending. final checks and then attempting to fire it up. to our relief the egine came back to life without any real troubles.
you can't even imagine how happy i was at that moment, thinking about the fact that i have built everything on this car with my own 2 hands. Damn, that sound! on idle just very civilized, when when revs climg, the intake comes to life and the exhaust just starts to roar the rotary sound. let off the throttle and the HKS blow-oof reveils its presence it has become a BEAST! finished up the brakes today and slapped on the wheels to push it out into the sun. final check on some things and then took it for a little spin out on the road very carefully. its all a little new, cause its been a long time and it is just a totally different car right now... on idle the engine runs real smooth, but when on throttle its a bit rough due to the rich mixture. some smoke from turbo and downpipe cause they are new but no weird noises or anything. tomorrow ill take it for a little spin and adjust some A/F on stock boost so i can run it a little before i go to the tuner. cant wait to see the results! and then i will enjoy every damn second i am in this car https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.gif movies will follow tomorrow, have to make a small compilation first. |

Then the suspension was in for some major changes.
Silkroad coilovers from Japan, custom made strut-braces, vented brake discs. And ofcourse a nice set of wheels, I wanted to go as wide as I could possibly go without rolling the fenders. After searching and researching for a long time, I got what I wanted! Only thing was: they didn’t come in black, so I had to get them painted right away… Front: 18 x 8,5J offset 25 with Falken FK451 225/40R18 Rear: 18 x 9,5J offset 25 with Falken FK451 255/35R18 do u think that wheel and tire size combination would work good with a stock suspension set up? |
NO...
it will hit the stock springs |

Everyone always posts what size wheels they have but no one ever puts up the offset... |
