Tein prices

The Teins are tempting. The cheapest I saw the HA's for was $1080 at rxecret7.com but I'd rather not go there.. had a bad experience before with those guys.

A buddy of mine has a shop and hes a dealer for Tein i can find out a price if you want.

The Tein, JIC, Mazdaspeed, and HKS coilovers are in an entirely different ballpark from the Ground Control and K2RD setups. The Tein HA's and HE's are awesome, and the JIC FLT-A2's are incredible, the HKS hiper damper and the Apexi N1 coilovers are the best you can get.

sure, let me know..

You said you have GC's now. What spring rates on the Eibachs and how tall did you order the springs? If I go that route, I was thinking 425/325 and 6" tall in the front and 9" tall in the rear. I was reading somewhere that if you don't specify, GC will send you 7" tall fronts and 10" tall rears which would actually raise your car 1" but still allow up to a 1.5" drop.

I do like my AGX's and it would be cheaper at this point but when you add it up new, the GC's and AGX's would be around $800 anyhow and that is with no bumpstops or upper mounts.

I got the JIC FLT-A2's and I really enjoy them. I've never had anything in the car other than them and the worn out stock stuff so I can't really say how they are compared to any other setup. I bought the set when I was in Japan. They are valved stiffer than the stuff that is sent over here from what I was told by some dealers. But they're still comfortable around town. The springrates are 390f/280r.

I would stay away from JIC USA products. My buddy Benson sent in some money for a set for his "sil-eighty" and 3mo later they have no clue what he is talking about. His sale was lost, along with the invoice. They are saying his recipt is a fake, and will not deal with him.

Boycott those ass holes!

Well, as I said I got mine in Japan. They were a lot less expensive over there. However, eventually the time will come when they need to be rebuilt. Hopefully I won't have a nightmare of an experience with that procedure.

What's the diff between the K2RD and GC sleeves? I noticed the K2RD springs are yellow, what brand are they?
