Well my point was that they are barely used, I wasn't talking about slapping it in mine to lower the milage, if I did put it in mine I would prolly crank the milage to 50K anyhow, just so I have an accurate measurement of my milage. I may throw some silver gauges on it and put it on ebay, I could probably get 75 to 100 for the cluster and gauge faces installed.

speaking of gauges...

I need to do something about my S4 NA gauge cluster, the new motor will be 9k+ capable, any suggestions on a way to make the tach go that high?

I'd prefer to keep the tach stock appearing.... not some big assed thing mounted on the dash...

a friend suggested I get a westach tach and just fit it into the cluster ... not really what I want though.

what model and whats needed to drive it? any pics / urls of specs?

i/m not likely interested though...

if I were to spend that much on this, I'd probably get motec engine management and get the motec ADL to go with it

lol..its old series 1...you dont want it. you'll need all new sensors throughout the engine and car for either a motec or a stack dash. I set one motec up on a AMS/cosworth DSR and i grubbed the old dash off of the owner of the car. I was going to build a 13B powered D sports racer, I had about a 1/4 of the design work done ...then my life fell apart and now i sweep the floors in a motor shop

ps...where the **** did you find a motec dash & ecu for 1100?
