I have a fellow driver at work who has a TDI Jetta with BBS wheels. They look the exact same as the ones on the RX7. He says as far as he knows, they are factory. Could they be?

I dont know why I am so curious about this. He used to own a first gen also and says that nothing he has driven since has ever compared to it, then I let him drive my car.

BBS is a VERY popular wheel with German manufacturer's. You'll find a lot of cars with BBS wheels. VW, Porche, BMW, Audi prolly all have models with BBS wheels strait from the factory.

I think that the old Grand Marquis had the same exact wheels that the vert has.

The BBS wheels from the jettas are 4X100, so no hopes in putting them on your car unless you've swapped some honda civic hubs onto your car...

Same design though..

Just different pattern since it is a wheel manufacturer.

Ok. I thought that the BBS wheels made for the RX7 were just for the RX. I didnt realize that the same style was used on many cars. Thanks for clarifying this.

And I will never put these wheels on my car. I like my factory T2 wheels.

The Jetta has this weird looking thick mutispoke spoked wheel. The vert used BBSs that looked like the LMs, sorta. I presonally LOVE those gold wheels
