I finally hooked up the line from my a/f guage to the 02 sensor today and with the car running the guage is giving no reading. Every once and a while the first led one the lean side will flicker. Im going to say its a bad connection becuase if it was this lean the motor would be gone right now. Only problem with this is all the connections are good. Anyone got some suggestions?

If you're sure the connections are good, the shielding on the wire off the sensor is good, and you've given it time to warm up, then I would say the sensor itself is bad. Just put an voltmeter on it and a good sensor s/b reading around half a volt at idle. It'll be jumping around quite a bit depending on the type of meter you're using.

I seem to have gotten it working now. Im not sure how acurate it is but at idle it now says im stoich and jumps to the first ritch whitch seems about right. It cuts out at 1000 rpms though.

Thats really weird. Are you sure your O2 sensor is good? Pull it out to see if it is all fouled up. How old is it anyway?

More than likely its the original 02 sensor.

How does it read under full throttle when driving the car? Mine reads the first rich led usually but no idea how accurate it is with the original O2.
