Okay yeah it's me again I would be lost without this board. I have a N/A and have a bad exhaust problem could I get just a down pipe and run it to the cat an d knock off the pre cats? if so what size down pipe would you recommend? I need something to get me by till I buy a complete exhaust kit.

It will be very loud for one, by the time you have someone make up a pipe which would have to be custom bent, with a flange welded on, and a gasket, you might as well just fix it correctly. If noise isnt a problem, or emissions, you could order a pipe and silencer that takes the place of all 3 converters.

 

Word of advice, if u put tha presilencer on , dont single it out. I got a 88' n/a, wit Racing Beat headers and presilencer , wit a single 2.5 pipeto a Arospeed racing medallion muffler. And it is loud as crap!! so go dual wit it if u want it mellow. And u will tell tha difference in power gain, also.

 

I have a used Rx7.com ( bonez?) midpipe for sale, its got 6 months of use on it. It has a built in presilencer and bolts upto the stock exhaust manifold and y-pipe. New $150, i'll sell for $75. And i wouldn't recommend anything more, its too damn loud. I also have the racing beat n/a exhaust w/ no mufflers. hehe Rx7.com

 

I got a downpipe made, 2.5". The guy had my car, put the downpipe and highflow cat on it for $250. But that is cause I know him. h34r:
