i dont know what kind of exhuast to get.... i kinda want to stay away from the weed-eater sound of a straight through exhuast like a greddy or apexi cuase they are basically just chrome really high priced glasspacks.. or woolpacks whatever they are nowadays... but im leaning more toward either a flowmaster, magnaflow, or borla exhuast system for a deeper throaghtier sound... but ive never heard what a flowmaster sounds like on an rx7.... if anyone has a flowmaster setup or anything besides a basic straight through exhuast let me know how you like it and what it sounds like....

i would get a corksport system and just add a straight through inline resonater to quite things down, or a racing beat there exhaust system is EXPENSIVE but it is VERY quite

Do not get a Flowmaster setup for your RX-7. I had one on my car and it rotted away in like 2 years. I dont think that it could hold up to the heat that it put out. Then I got a Borla system. This system is very good. a nice sound to eat, plus it is covered by the million mile warranty. I will try to post up a vid of my car with the exhaust, but I cant promise anything.

I don't recomend the Corksport single sided exhaust even with a pre silencer, one of my friends has it and it's loud as hell. If I recall correctly, 120db's at idle. His setup is a racing beat header and pre silencer and the corksport catback.

On my TII I've got the greddy power extreme. It has a really deep sound even at full throtle. At cursing speeds its quite enough that you can carry on a normal converstion with out having to yell. I'll try to get an audio clip for you. It's expensive but worth it I think.

I have true duals RB to the y-pipe then just some ebay mufflers and it sounds agressive and not ricy.

i've always wondered what a flowmaster would sound like on a seven. I bet it did sound good even though it didn't last long.
