Exhuast?
#1
ok, I have a stock? exhuast right now, on my 90 GTU, would it be possible to pick up a RB roadrace header, and run custom 2.5" piping to my existing mufflers? I say "stock?" because it should be all original parts, but my mufflers say "dynomax" on them, which means possibly someone replaced them at some point. My purpose for asking is, a roadrace header is $200 from mazdatrix, which is good, while a full dual exhuast is $1250 which is bad, if I can use my existing mufflers (at least for a while, till I get bored, and want to change that as well) for $200 plus the cost of some custom piping, then a dual exhuast may be in my near future

not to mention, wouldn't my ordinary stock mufflers quiet it down a bit? If they are stock, still not sure about that.
edit: they are very quiet though, at least I think so, can't hear my car over the stereo ever anyway

Your GTU is gonna seem slow if you hang out w/ UniqueTII all the time, lol. The power between the NAs and turbo is night and day...its what made me do my swap in the first place...I loved my NA body and interior..it USED to be perfect and I grew partial to it...but I wanted the turbo power...so I put two together and now I'm an SE-X master
