I've tried searching for what I want to find out but haven't had any luck. I have the corksport single side exhaust cat back and stock the rest of the way. I want to get a header and maybe a high flow cat. But I heard that the RB header eliminates all cats. Is there a header that will bolt up to the stock cat or is there a header/cat combination that will bolt up to the stock y pipe area that will not force the rest of the exhaust back further? Also, what do you think of the corksport exhaust with a header and or high flow cat?

thanks

Kevin

the rb one will bolt right up if you don't use the presilencer.

When I talked to racing beat they talked like you have to use the presilencer like it was part of the header. The header just gets rid of the pre cats?

check with camron at pettit racing. he used to sell a high flow cat that bolted to the header and the cat back systems.

They also say you need a Air Control and Check Valve Cover Plate for the road racing header with stock intake system. I'm confused to where that would go... is there anybody with a racing beat header? they make 2 different kinda from what I can find, the road racing header, which i think is the one i want, and they make the streetable header.

i know the header replaces one on the cats. the other two are replaced by the presilencer, i can't remember my car hasn't had cats for over 2 years now, and i have a turbo now so it's even harder for me to remember

Nismo is partially right.

The RB header and silencer are designed to replace the exhaust from the block to the CAT back unit.

The RB header will NOT match to any of the stock CATs.

Get a high flow CAT some pipe and 2 flanges as well as the RB header and then build a custom CAT to go between the header and the CAT back. The RB header has a port for the O2 sensor. IF you have an S4 and need a back pressure port to activate your secondaries you will have to weld a nipple into your custom CAT to accomodate.

Hope this helps.
