I am just finishing up putting together a T2 Engine, i can't wait to get it run in and on the Rollers.

Can anyone give me a estimate from experiance what i should expect to see?

My Spec is

Flowed primary plates

Aggressive Secondry Extended port

Exhaust ports flowed

FD Staitionary gears,Oil pump,Oil Reg etc

FD Inlet manifold

2x550 & 2x1200cc Injectors + Fuel Reg

Skyline Fuel Pump

FMIC

60-1 Turbo with a .96 (Undivided)

Tial 40mm wastgate

Microtech Lt8

And some other bits which have sliped my memory.

What would you guess? It will be running our Uk 97ron fuel and the boost is going to be around the 15-18psi mark.

Thanks

Chris

Is that at the Wheels?

18 psi is alot of boost for a heavily ported engine. I would work the psi in slowly to see what the safe limit is for your setup. Could be 10 psi or could be 20 psi, and people brag about psi but at the end of the day its who ended up in front.

Rant over!

Until you post pixs of the porting, I'm going to say 420rwhp.

I don't think he has enough gas for that much power guys.

not nearly enough injector, get bigger

Apex13B 02-23-2004 09:28 PM

Whoops, I didn't even see that. In that case 350rwhp.

But then again if he has a bigger pump and is running 50psi static fuel pressure he could get to 400+rwhp..

g_dripht-alex 02-23-2004 11:40 PM

sick i can get 558rwhp out of my car on my current fuel setup. sweeeeet. looks like my 400rwhp goal will be met.

Grizzly 02-24-2004 03:40 PM

Wow? i was looking for 400 hp (flywheel)

I was thinking about running 720cc's but felt it would be a little rich for running in (but is on the cards)

Is there anything ovious i've missed that will Hinder my Hp/Drivability?

Cheers

Chris

Very informative link Tyson. Thanks. I like the fuel pressure and pump requirements.
