just ask the guy in the office to have his workers move the car, they have machinery for moving the cars around. buy the t2 if the chassis is straight.

Yea...

Look, if you do go ahead with the conversion from the 88T2 to the '90+ vert...it's gonna be 10X the pain of simply moving the T2 and rebuilding the motor in it.

To put an s4 motor in the s5 car...you need everything 1revvin7 listed, and the interior harnesses. Of course, haltech would solve all these problems. There are many differences in the s4 cars and s5 electronically...

1revvin7 and I have both done an NA to turbo conversion...and both of us would say(I know you'd agree 1revvin) that rebuilding a T2 motor and putting it back in the T2 would be SOOOO much easier and way less headache...not to mention, you would restoring a car, not destroying two of them...

most the junkyards i go to have a 'office' which is a shack, and workers, who don't speak english and can't get legal employment in the country.... in any case, you have to consider how the car got back in the corner and surrounded by other cars if they are all trashed... they junkyards have equipment for moving cars around.

since the car is wrecked anyways i guess it doesnt matter.

well an update, i misunderstood/ got bad info from my friends.

the TII looks like it got ran over by a truck. The roof is crumpled in so there is no saving it.

it is in the back corner of the lot, behind like 40 rows of cars bumper to bumper. Im thinking that

this prob will not happen, but the engine may be very very cheep.

if you do get that turbo engine, i would rebuild that thing, you don't know how long that thing has been sitting there, or even if it runs, get a streetport job while you;re in there too .
