MY 89 convertible quits when slowing quickly into turns. I had a similar problem a few years ago and the shop told me it was a loose ground to the engine. How can I fix this?

Any thgouts on what else might be causing this problem???

Your air flow meter may be coming loose. If there are any leaks between the air flow meter and throttle body the engine will stall.

I heard that a dirty fuel pump screen will have the same effect.

You have gas in the car right? lol....I'd check the grounds for the fuel pump...see if they are loose....
