It turns out that I am, in fact, legally retarded. I just had the fuel lines backwards. Someone on the evil forum even mentioned it and it just went in one ear and out the other, so to speak. I had already put new grommets and o-rings in the injectors, so I am just thanking God right now that they aren't leaking, because they did that once before and I almost shot the damn car!!! But the thing starts fine now, seems to run alright as well. I only took it for a very short drive yesterday, so hopefully everything will be OK in the long run.

just want you to look at my reply and read the first sentence again:

"definitely double check that you have the fuel feed line on the proper side and the return line on the proper side."

seems like people on *both* forums told you that https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png.

lol, lots of people do the same thing, common mistake. no harm no foul.

Yeah, tell me about it. I was just to excited that I found out what it was (after you guys telling me twice, ha!) that I forgot about your post. But the damn car is idling high now... Is it possible to have the TB spacer on backwards? could this cause enough of a vac leak for high idle? Could the thermowax still being present have anything to do with this? I removed the coolant lines, etc to it and capped the open lines, but the assembly is still there.

make sure to reset the TPS, and just fine-tune the idle with the idle adjustments.

dont be surprised if it wants to idle higher then normal tho, it happens sometimes after emissions removal. ive been able to lower both of my cars idles by toying with the idle adjustments.
