hey, i have a 98 S4 GTX, JUST BEEN REMOVING ALL THE EMISSIONS STUFF OFF THE INTAKE MANIFOLD COS ITS NOT EVEN PLUMBED BACK INTO THE EXHAUST (NEW) ANYHOW, AND GETTING RID OF THE AIR PUMP AND STUFF, ANYONE DONE THIS THAT HAS SOME ADVICE? FINALLY GOT ROUND TO THE ENGINE

Yea I need the bracket off the smog pump. Your going to throw it away anyway. Where are you located??

uhh did anyone else catch that its a 98 s4 gtx... they didnt have fc's in 98 and a gtx was not sold in america, your profile says its an 88.. what the hell is your car???

possably a typo? typing with all caps aint easy so you know he had to make mistakes somewhere/ or be retarded.

cheers for that, im in new zealand and its a japanese import, ended up sweet anyhow just made a few 3mm aluminium blanks and its working sweet cant get rid of those hesitations yet though. as for caps well im not really knowledgable for all the jargon and stuff, as far as i can see a word is a word so im happy. cheers for the helpful replies. yeah you can have the bit if you want but freight would be a bit steep (if you are in the states)

Hey guy the 88 or 89. You can remove that stuff from your vehicle. I removed mine because for one it was just unnessesary weight. Plus i didnt need it anymore because i went in and opened up my fifth and sixth portpermantly. Anyway you can, but i would keep all that stuff just in case you might need it in the future.
