When i'm driving at night, headlights on (and therefore dash lights on) i'm having all the lights which light up the dash turn off every now and then... i'm guessing it is just a loose connector, but dunno where it is. Normally happens when i i hit a bump (or smack the dash... above the tach)

Just wondering where the main connector for these lights would be?

When the gremlin comes out to play, it effects all lights which light up the dash (so u can't see yer gauges, but they are still working) and the heater control panel background lighting. Basically all the lights which give u background lighting so u can see what u are doing in the dark!

Lights which still do work are: headlights/taillights, high beam indicator, rear defroster indicator and the lights which are on the heater (only the ones to adjust fan speed, direction & hot/cold ratio), and the stereo is fine

Any suggestions appreciated.

do yourself a favor, if you plan on keeping that car for a long time rewire the whole thing now.
