i was wondering who has put an electric fan of thier FC and if it is worth it. Also, is there a need for more shrouding around the electric fan?, or can i take that ****** shroud off (the car has the stock rad. for now)
and what needs to be done wiring wise and is it hard for someone with a title like me? i am just tring to clean up the engine bay and makr the car eaiser to work on |
here is a link about the wiring i found on the other forum
http://www.rx7club.com/forum/showthread.ph...threadid=148333 from what i've always heard, though...no electric fan will pull as much air thru the rad as the stock fan w/shroud good luck :bigthumg: |
thx..i refuse to even go on that forum though..religous beliefs

I had the electronic fan and was not happy with result. I think it was cause of the inproper sized shroud for the radiator size. Also i have a big ass IC in front so it gets in the way. I put back my stock fan and actually works better. Just my opinion. I"m pretty sure it might work find witha car without a fmic.

For an n/a car, or a T2 w/o a FMIC it works fine, I had one w/o a fan shourd and my temps stayed normal, according to the stock gauge. Its easy to wire. But if you have bigger radiatore then you wanna make sure then e-fan pulls a lot of air. The stock mech is the best for cooling though, I just hate how loud it is and how cramped the engine bay is.

huh, well if my new becool fan doesn't pull enough air through my big ass k2rd rad then I switch back, now that i have an s5, and have a not so loud fan https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png
