I think power window assembly is actually lighter. not 100% sure of that though.

I dont give a **** about weight reduction on this, Im just sick of replacing fuses, manual windows are alot less maintinence.

There may be something wrong with your electrics that may be easier to fix. i don't know, but in 17 years of owning my RX-7, I have never had a blown fuse from the electric windows. I have never had a switch problem



Maybe there is something simple in the wiring that could be fixed to solve the fuse problem.

Yah a new switch, power windows have lots of problems in a any car, I rather just go manual, unless someone on here has a cheap drivers side window switch.

i think I remember reading that somewhere. Something about the whole assembly for the manual crank system was a little heavier than the electric system.



i don't know for sure though. Both of my 7's have power.
