i was wondering if the ecu in an 87 turbotwo has to be grounded to the floor in order for it to work....reason being i took mine out because i was welding in the car now the a pillar bar on the p/s is right in the way so i cannot mount the ecu in the stock mounting place.. thanks

there should be a wire on the ECU for ground. the 4 bolts u screw in one of them u can connect the wire to, so it grounds.

I dont know about haveing to ground it to make it work though.
